Shabby is a Registered Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with adults, children, couples, and families. She holds a Master of Social Work degree with specialization and certifications in trauma treatment. She has profound experience working with anxiety, depression, bipolar, personality disorders, postpartum and relationships. She is also trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Exposure Therapy, Play Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
Shabby is also a proud member of the Halton Trauma Team where she helps individuals overcome the impact of their past traumas. Her ideal client is someone who has experienced trauma or is suffering from anxiety and depression. Shabnaaz focuses on helping her clients through individualized treatment planning to help them achieve fulfillment and happiness.
Shabnaaz has worked in various mental health settings throughout the years and has gained knowledge and experience working with various people from different cultures and backgrounds.
