Nice to meet you!
Trisha Mendoza
She /Her Registered Social Worker, BA, MSW Psychotherapist
This is your journey. You are looking to make changes in your life and you bring to the table experiences and gifts that are uniquely yours. I see my clients as a whole and recognize how both genetics and environment play important roles in the person they are today. We will work together to find the right path for you, while learning new skills, challenging old thinking patterns, practicing self-compassion and allowing a few laughs along the way.
Trisha has spent her career working alongside individuals and families experiencing life’s hardships and remains in awe of the resilience she sees in her clients every day. She enjoys working with clients who are open to trying new approaches and challenging their thinking in order to gain a better understanding of themselves, their mental health and well-being. Trisha specializes in working with youth and adults diagnosed or experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, personality disorders, PTSD, among other mental health concerns.
With over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and their families with complex needs in the non-profit, community health and education sectors, Trisha’s practice combines her knowledge and training to help her clients ensure the best possible outcome based on their needs. Trisha is fluently bilingual and can provide therapy services in both French and English.
“I believe that timing is one of the most important parts of therapy. The client who is ready to fully engage with the process will make the biggest strides.”
