Rosanna Riverso
She /Her Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), MACP (in progress) Offering Affordable Therapy in Burlington and virtually
In therapy, the bond between you and your therapist is vital. Only within a supportive and non-judgmental relationship can you feel comfortable being vulnerable, so that you can learn, grow, and thrive. My aim as your therapist is to offer you the safe space and tools necessary for achieving your goals. Together, we'll navigate emotions, tackle difficult decisions, identify your strengths, and build confidence. Knowing that everyone is unique, I tailor evidence-based treatments to suit your specific needs. Drawing from my fair share of life challenges, I’m open to sharing experiences to foster empathy, understanding, and hope. Let’s embark on this journey together.
Rosanna's dedication spans across all age groups, ranging from children to adults. Her rich background, combined with comprehensive therapy training, positions her to aid individuals navigating trauma, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, gender dysphoria, relationship conflicts, divorce, and grief. Proficient in various therapy modalities, she focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Transactional Analysis (TA), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
With nearly a decade spent as an Adult Education Teacher and Internship Coordinator, Rosanna offered personalized guidance and counselling on academic and career matters, particularly to a diverse group of newcomers. Drawing from her personal journey as the child of immigrant parents, she harbours a keen interest in assisting newcomers with cultural adjustment stress and navigating injustices.
As a current Master’s of Counselling Psychology student graduating December 2024, Rosanna offers reduced rates and sliding scale options for her clients. She is under direct supervision of the Clinical Director, Tamara Daniszewski.
“We reach our fullest potential only through specific connections - the right therapist, the right treatment, and the inner truth. Our minds and emotions often obscure the truth, but aligning with the right connections will open the door to true happiness.”

Comedy is my sanctuary. I love watching stand-up comedy and I personally delight in being playful and connecting with others through laughter.
Through the challenges of divorce, I found clarity, resilience, and learned invaluable lessons about love, eventually leading me to discover genuine love with an amazing man and forming a cherished blended family.
