Moon Naz
She /Her Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), MACP (Counselling Psychology)
Are you seeking ways to enhance your overall well-being, overcome past traumas, or boost self-esteem? I specialize in empowering individuals of all ages through social skills, self-awareness, and empowerment, employing a culturally sensitive approach to promote mindfulness, self-care, and personal growth.
It’s not uncommon for lives to unravel following trauma or major challenges. My primary goal is restoring hope to those who have endured hardship. I firmly believe in your expertise about your own life and your innate ability to regain well-being. As a psychotherapist, I collaborate with you without bias, respecting your perspective.
Moon has accumulated significant experience in the mental health sector, working with diverse populations such as at-risk women, adolescents, and men facing mental health challenges. She has worked extensively with individuals dealing with concurrent disorders, anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, and eating disorders.
Moon specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and incorporates Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques in her counselling.
Moon holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and a graduate certification in addictions and mental health. She also specializes in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and recognizes that a one-size-fits-all approach is not for everyone. Therefore, she combines CBT, DBT, Meta-Cognitive Strategies, Mindfulness, and Trauma-Informed Therapy in her practice.
With significant experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, Moon advocates for mindfulness, self-care, and self-improvement through a bicultural lens. She is deeply committed to empowering her clients, and helping them build confidence and purpose to navigate life’s challenges. Her ultimate goal is to collaborate with clients without bias, fostering empowerment and confidence.
“I believe that therapy is a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. It’s about finding the strength within yourself to overcome challenges and grow. As your therapist, my role is to walk alongside you, providing support and guidance, while respecting your unique perspective and experiences. Together, we can create a path to healing and resilience, tailored to your individual needs.”
